About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group exercise classes for our diverse membership base.
As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and motivating environment where participants of all ages and abilities can achieve their fitness goals. Your expertise and enthusiasm will inspire members to participate actively and enjoy a rewarding workout experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality group exercise classes that are safe, effective, and enjoyable for participants.
- Educate members on proper exercise techniques and provide modifications or progressions as needed.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel supported and encouraged.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space.
- Communicate effectively with members and respond to their inquiries promptly.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- ETM Qualification and/or Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification
- Other relevant qualification required depending on the class being taught
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants
