About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Learning Disabilities Team in the Dudley area. As a specialist in learning disability services, you will work with individuals with complex mental health needs and/or behavioral distress, providing high-quality psychology provision in community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychology assessment, intervention, and consultation to individuals with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.
  • Liaise with psychology colleagues, non-psychology colleagues, and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Utilize doctoral-level research skills for audit, policy, and service development, as well as supervising research carried out by Assistant and Trainee psychologists.
  • Ensure that individuals with learning disabilities and additional support needs are safely supported by the full range of services and opportunities that meet their whole life needs and aspirations.
Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with experience working with a learning disability population, assessment, formulation, and intervention. Postgraduate training is desirable.
