Contract/Project Manager - 18 Storey Social Housing Refurbishment

Our client is a leading national main contractor specializing in planned maintenance on affordable housing for Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). As a family-owned construction, development, and property services company, they are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.

They are currently working on a large Major Projects framework in North London and are due to start work on a £15m, 18-storey block with an 80-week program in Kilburn.

The scope of works will include structural repairs, window and door replacements, internal and external decorations, soil stack replacements, fire safety works, roof and walkway renewals, external wall insulation, kitchen and bathroom replacements, lift replacements, M&E - electrics, communal heating installation, domestic extract ventilation installation, boosted cold water supply, and sprinkler system installations.

The successful individual will be part of an already successful team, reporting to an Operations Manager, and the scheme is due to go live in December.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Programming of works.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental targets, including Zero Waste, Zero Carbon, and Positive Nature Enhancement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with projects within the construction industry, particularly in planned social housing refurbishments.
