About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and interventions to families affected by substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and risk management plans to support families in achieving their goals and improving outcomes.
  • Deliver a range of services, including outreach, open access, and case management, to families affected by substance use.
  • Support medically assisted recovery where appropriate and provide recovery interventions to families affected by substance use.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service, ensuring contractual output targets are achieved.
  • Record and input client data and information to ensure the service operates within contractual, administrative, and financial requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with adults and young people with a history of substance use.
  • Knowledge of the Recovery Agenda and relapse and other barriers to recovery.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage a significant caseload in a busy environment.
