Job Title: Home Care Assistant

At Home Instead, we are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to visit clients and provide support according to their care plan and wishes.
  • Foster companionship and provide emotional support to clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing.
  • Support with making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
  • Allow clients to maintain their dignity while assisting them with personal care tasks such as getting dressed.
  • Take clients out to places of their choice, such as local shops or cafes.
Requirements:
  • Experience is not required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience is an advantage.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent, dependable service.
  • Must have a caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
  • Must have a valid driving licence and have your own dependable transport.
  • UK residency is essential, and we cannot provide working visas.
  • Must have good working flexibility, including alternate weekends.

  • Earn £13.00-£14.00 per hour, plus 35p/mile mileage reimbursement.
