About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to join our Collateral Management team at MUFG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing and managing collateral across various asset classes, ensuring accurate and timely execution of margin calls and settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process margin calls and settlements across OTC, Repo, and SBL asset classes
  • Collaborate with the treasury desk to ensure collateral posted is in line with their cheapest to deliver policies
  • Book collateral and optimize outflows based on eligibility criteria
  • Settle interest on cash variation margin posted and received
  • Ensure accurate and timely margin bookings and settlements
  • Manage disputes and exposures with senior management, risk, and business stakeholders
  • Provide high-level client service and support for incoming queries
  • Maintain a robust control environment and drive improvements to efficiency and manual touch points
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of ISDA CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA agreements
  • Experience with trade processing and handling across derivative swap products
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Uncleared Margin Rules
  • Understanding of REPO and OTC Derivatives products and their impact on margin calls
  • Previous experience with TriResolve reconciliation manager tool and Acadiasoft
  • Collateral optimization experience, including cheapest to deliver
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
