About the Role

This is a replacement Consultant post within the multi-disciplinary team providing and continuing to develop care for patients with Glaucoma. The post holder will be required to work within the team, providing specialist Consultant leadership, expertise and support to King's glaucoma services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide outpatient and surgical services for glaucoma patients from the complex to the routine.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the glaucoma service across all King's sites in collaboration with other King's glaucoma specialists.
  • Work with local clinical commissioning groups to devise appropriate patient care pathways and services in primary care.
  • Perform high volume cataract surgery.
