We are currently in search of a skilled Procurement professional to join a prominent organization in the Defence sector. This position will be integral to a team responsible for fulfilling commitments made by the procurement division concerning budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality standards.

This distinctive opportunity in Procurement will involve supporting a well-established Defence entity on a contractual basis, with an immediate commencement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the development and/or modification of the Procurement level 3 plan utilizing Excel, incorporating data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate effectively with the P&SC Bid Team to communicate alterations in configuration, significant discrepancies in purchase order values compared to bids, and ensure that the PPS/PPM is fully apprised of these modifications and their implications on the schedule.
  • Engage with Procurement Programme Specialists to pinpoint items that may be at risk, whether due to cost implications or scheduling issues, including potential obsolescence.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient ability to quickly grasp the company's programs and organizational structure.
  • Experience with SAP or a comparable MRP system.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including the use of Pivots, VLookups, and a solid understanding of formulas.
