Senior Litigation Paralegal Role

Glasgow, a flexible 1 day a week in the office

Permanent, full-time opportunity

Keoghs is seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our successful and friendly team. As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to progress your legal career and work on a wide range of litigated motor cases on behalf of Insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own case load of pre and post-litigation defender motor files
  • Adhere to court deadlines and manage files in accordance with court timetables
  • Instruct experts and work with Counsel
  • Carry out detailed reviews of medical records
  • Liaise with clients, other insurers, and third parties
  • Negotiate settlements and draft pleadings/court documents

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in Litigation and Insurance
  • Ideal experience in at least one of the following areas: Credit hire, personal injury, and counter fraud files
  • Experience of drafting court documents and understanding of processes
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks using initiative
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to re-prioritise and delegate effectively when required
  • Ability to analyse evidence and work as part of a team
