Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our team and contribute to the origination, underwriting, and structuring of real estate debt facilities across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will have a strong background in real estate investment banking, real estate, or engineering, and a genuine interest in real estate finance and the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be involved in all stages of the origination process, including initial screening, due diligence, documentation, and loan closing;
  • Perform valuation analysis using various methodologies, including DCF modeling and analyzing comparables;
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate real estate performance under various operating scenarios;
  • Provide analytical, due diligence, and transactional support on loan origination and new business opportunities;
  • Assist the team with the preparation of presentation materials for investment committee meetings;
  • Conduct product and sector research and present findings to the global RECP teams and clients;
  • Train and supervise junior team members;
  • Attend industry events, presentations, and asset site tours.
Requirements
  • BA or equivalent from an academically renowned university with a proven track record of academic excellence;
  • Experience in real estate investment banking, real estate, or engineering with a strong interest in real estate finance and the financial markets;
  • Fluent English speaker with other European languages an advantage;
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, research, and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • An inquisitive personality with a drive to continue learning;
  • Strong teamwork mindset with an ability to work well with other team members at all levels;
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and assume a high level of responsibility.
