Lead Product Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Lead to join our team at Rockfield Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and driving innovation across our global consumer products portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead a portfolio of complex new product development (NPD) and innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
- Consumer Insights: Translate customer and consumer insights into safe, legal, and repeatable specifications, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge of food science and technology to develop new products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to drive collaboration and achieve business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in food science or food technology, with a strong technical understanding of food ingredients and manufacturing processes. Experience in powder-manufacturing processes and knowledge of new process technologies are highly desirable. Additionally, you will need excellent numeracy skills to interpret trend analysis and consumer insights, with some knowledge of statistical tools for data analysis.
