Job Title: Senior Project Controller

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various industries. We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring high availability and reducing maintenance costs.

We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities, specializing in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases. Our commitment is delivered by a highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the engineering project manager in monitoring, controlling, and reporting of engineering projects.
  • Work on projects ranging from Concept Design to Execution Design, across various sectors and project sizes.
  • Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of planning, scheduling, cost, project change control, and project risk management in line with the contract.
  • Set up and update project schedules and control estimates, challenging discipline lead engineers and procurement managers as needed.
  • Provide planning and cost information for progress reports and identify changes in resource requirements.
  • Advise the EPM on ways to recover from programme slippage and identify risks to the programme or budget.
Experience & Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience as a project controls engineer in an engineering/EPCM/EPC company.
  • Experience setting up engineering project schedules and project reporting systems.
  • Solid understanding of multidiscipline engineering projects and interdependencies between activities and deliverables.
  • Experience working on large-scale portfolios, programmes, or projects.
  • Knowledge of various phases of engineering and construction projects and common standard forms of contract.
  • Strong understanding of Project Controls practices, processes, and tools, including application of standard metrics.
  • Significant capability in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
  • Experience in cost control, risk management, and reporting tools.
