At The Little Blue Door, we prioritize well-being for children's development. Our setting offers a safe and stimulating environment where outdoor play and learning are integral parts of the curriculum.

Your Role
  • Provide support in the classroom, assisting with the care and supervision of children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to lesson planning and activity preparation.
  • Lead engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Assist with food preparation and mealtime routines.
  • Provide support with toileting, nappy changing, and personal hygiene.
  • Facilitate playtime and encourage social interaction among children.
  • Read stories and engage in literacy activities.
Requirements
  • A Level 2 Childcare qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
  • Proficiency in English and Mathematics.

Hours

This role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility to work up to 45 hours. Shift patterns will vary according to the setting's operating hours, which are from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
