Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at The Little Blue Door, Westhampnett.
At The Little Blue Door, we prioritize well-being for children's development. Our setting offers a safe and stimulating environment where outdoor play and learning are integral parts of the curriculum.
Your Role- Provide support in the classroom, assisting with the care and supervision of children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Contribute to lesson planning and activity preparation.
- Lead engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist with food preparation and mealtime routines.
- Provide support with toileting, nappy changing, and personal hygiene.
- Facilitate playtime and encourage social interaction among children.
- Read stories and engage in literacy activities.
- A Level 2 Childcare qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Successful completion of a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Proficiency in English and Mathematics.
- Participate in staff outings and social events.
- Benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities.

This role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility to work up to 45 hours. Shift patterns will vary according to the setting's operating hours, which are from 7:15 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
