Job Title: Client-Side Property Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team at Beach Baker Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our 40-strong property portfolio, including a European element of around 15 properties in key locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust estates strategy for the portfolio, aligning with key business goals and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Negotiate terms with third-party landlords and coordinate with internal teams to manage the lifecycle of each tenancy.
  • Oversee relationships with insurers and brokers, ensuring effective risk management for property, business interruption, public liability, and other key areas.
  • Manage business rates, ensuring compliance and handling appeals to maximize value.
  • Work closely with legal teams to draft, review, and maintain leases, licenses, and management agreements.
  • Ensure all property agreements and documents are updated and managed within a property database.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of commercial property management experience, ideally within multi-site consumer businesses.
  • A genuine passion for property, with a drive to bring value and innovation to the role.
  • Real Estate Degree-educated, RICS qualified.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with legal documents, occupational structures, and compliance.

Work Environment:

This role offers flexible working, including options for hybrid working between the office and home. You'll be based in either our London or Bristol hub, with some travel between these locations and regular visits to properties in the UK, EU, and Switzerland. Our Agile Working Policy encourages flexibility, with an expectation of three days per week in an office or property location.
