The Licensing Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the category team to achieve revenue objectives, serving as a primary liaison for both domestic and international offices while representing Paramount Global to external stakeholders.

What will your responsibilities include?

Sales

  • Oversee the dissemination of essential sales information to key partners and potential collaborators.
  • Aid category teams in the preparation and development of sales presentations for significant meetings.
  • Assist the senior director in researching and pinpointing prospective new business opportunities and meetings.

Partner & Product Management

  • Compile, organize, and manage the licensee product image and sample database.
  • Ensure the maintenance of key partner contact and mailing lists.
  • Collaborate with licensees to guarantee that the team has access to vital product samples.

Internal Communications

  • Act as the primary internal contact for UK and international offices.
  • Responsible for bi-weekly team updates and communications to the US office.
  • Provide brand updates and UK performance reports to the US office.

Financial

  • Support the team in meeting financial targets and ensure timely submissions and payments of royalty statements by partners.

Legal

  • Assist in bi-weekly legal meetings, ensuring that agreements are processed promptly.
  • Help in entering and routing agreements through legal systems.
  • Monitor contract expiration dates to ensure the category team initiates renewals six months prior to expiration.

Retail

  • Collaborate with the insights and analytics team to gather licensee ASINS that provide reliable EPOS and sell-through data.
  • Partner with the retail team for regular reviews and to research key market trends.

Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to gain insights into competitor partnerships, products, marketing strategies, and retail distribution.
  • Work alongside the retail team to perform retail assessments.

Trade Shows & Events

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to organize trade shows, including managing invitations, RSVPs, and event logistics.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the department.
  • Maintain the internal calendar for key retail and category meetings for the VP.
  • Assist the team with various projects as needed.

Team & Culture:

  • Exhibit an inclusive and collaborative mindset when engaging with all partners.
  • Advocate for the needs of licensees within the broader Paramount Global organization.

  • Technologically proficient, comfortable with Mac systems and familiar with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
