About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our MRI Department as a Pre-Operative Assessment Deputy Sister. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our MRI Department.
Main Responsibilities
As a Pre-Operative Assessment Deputy Sister, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting radiographers and radiologists in maintaining an efficient daily work list
- Assisting with MRI examinations, including preparing patients for their imaging examinations and caring for patients following examinations
- Dealing with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems
- Performing administrative and clerical duties across the department, including reception cover, appointment bookings, and data entry on all necessary clinical systems
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has experience in imaging and patient care
- Is able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with patients and staff
- Has excellent organizational and time management skills
- Is able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
