Team Leader Opportunity at The Cinnamon Care Collection

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Lakeview Grange, a luxurious 55-bedded residential and dementia care home in Chichester, West Sussex.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Deputy Manager to coordinate resident assessments, ensuring resident involvement and integration of information into care plans.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely communication of resident information to achieve a person-centred approach.
  3. Work closely with the team to maintain high standards of care at all times.
  4. Oversee medication administration processes, including auditing and identifying training needs.
  5. Recruit and manage the care team, ensuring efficient use of contracted hours and monitoring recruitment needs.
  6. Regularly communicate with family members regarding resident needs and progress.
  7. Manage team member absence and conduct return-to-work sessions with support from the Deputy Manager and home Administrator.
  8. Ensure effective handovers between shifts, keeping the Deputy Manager and General Manager informed.
  9. Provide daily coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
Essential Requirements:
  1. NVQ 3 essential, NVQ 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management (desirable).
  2. Two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  3. Experience of planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.
  4. Experience of working with older people.
