About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities in supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and physical support to individuals to encourage them to live their lives to the fullest
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and housekeeping
  • Support individuals to engage in their local community, including activities such as going to the cinema, meals, and day trips
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements
  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Approachable, friendly, proactive, and able to engage with service users
  • Great communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
