Care Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing emotional and physical support to individuals with various needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in supported living settings, promoting independence and aiding with life skills and house tasks.
- Encourage individuals to engage in their local community through activities such as cinema trips, meals, and medical appointments.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- 6 months of UK-based care experience in the last year or a year in the last 5 years.
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
- Willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks.
- Ability to undertake personal care.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
