Our Vision
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care: Providing personal care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living tasks and promoting their independence.
- Psychological Support: Building strong and trusting relationships with residents, providing emotional support, and helping them manage their mental health.
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively with qualified nurses and other staff to ensure seamless care and support.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a social care role within the last 2 years.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Desirable: Experience in the mental health field, dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, and helping people with housing and benefits.
