**Job Title:** Production Planning Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our MPS Planning Team, you will be responsible for assisting with planning and prioritizing operations to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Releasing rapid / expedited production orders manually and adjusting volumes outside the automated ERP process.
  • Monitor production progress, highlighting and addressing delays, then adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Planning and levelling capacity, prioritizing operations for optimal performance.
  • Working with production to determine manpower, equipment, and raw material needs.
  • Continuously seek and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinating production workflows for one or multiple products.
  • Entering sales orders into the ERP system.
  • Running the ERP system to generate daily manufacturing orders.
  • Collating manufacturing orders, including assembling document packs for production cells (e.g., printing drawings, inspection plans, and data sheets).
  • Handling administrative emails.
  • Identifying issues in document packs before release.
  • Sending order chases to advise of delays.
  • Performing general data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Collecting output information (e.g., finished product count, defect percentages).
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
  • Organising paperwork.
  • Collaborating with quality control and warehouse staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Working SAP knowledge and being able to interrogate SAP for crucial information and reporting.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to represent the Group appropriately.
