Job Overview

Position: Manufacturing Team Leader

Location: Wimborne, Dorset

Employment Type: Permanent

Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm & Friday 8am to 1pm

A leading global manufacturer in the aerospace sector is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to enhance their operations.

This organization boasts a stellar reputation within the industry and has experienced consistent growth. Due to an influx of new contracts, they are expanding their workforce.

These are exciting times for the company, and they are in search of skilled Manufacturing Team Leaders to manage the increasing demand for their innovative products.

This role offers the chance to engage in significant projects within the aerospace field.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations while guiding your team. You will allocate tasks, ensure adherence to build instructions, and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a team of technicians and assemblers, including task allocation, performance management, and providing training and support.
  • Ensuring production processes comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Reporting production activities to management.
  • Promoting adherence to health and safety regulations within the team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Formal qualifications in electronics are preferred, though experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, testing, and inspection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
