SPAR Sturminster Marshall is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Designate Team Leader (DTL). This position plays a vital part in our management team, stepping up in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

As a DTL, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high store standards through effective leadership. You will guide and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results while upholding the values of our company.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Team Development & Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new team members. Provide guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Set a high standard of performance for the team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Maintain a safe and organized store environment for both colleagues and customers.
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently. Cultivate strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and trust.
  • Store Operations: Contribute to the smooth running of daily operations, including stock management, merchandising, and cash handling. Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in leading and supervising teams within a retail setting. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach are essential for success in this role.
