About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Retail Manager to join our Supporter Income & Engagement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As the Senior Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our online shop, leading product development, and driving retail and licensing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resources and oversee two direct reports to achieve retail and licensing objectives and income targets.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, developers, artists, and licensees to develop products that generate income and bring the WWF brand to life.
  • Research and identify suppliers, artists, manufacturers, designers, and licensees to develop products that meet brand and design requirements.
  • Monitor budgets and key performance indicators to ensure successful product development and sales.
Requirements
  • Experience in purchasing, retail, or online trading with a focus on product design, development, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team development skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and ethical trading practices.
  • Experience with design packages such as Photoshop and InDesign.
