We are seeking a Retail Supervisor to join our team at Alexander Barracks and Elizabeth Barracks in Pirbright, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the receiving and processing of merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks, maintaining high standards of customer service and productivity
  • Handle the storage and organization of merchandise, ensuring efficient use of space and resources
  • Verify accurate pricing and labeling of products on the sales floor
  • Lead by example, maintaining a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with customers and team members
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales goals and optimize store operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and loyalty
  • Provide training and support to new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding process

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail or supervisory role
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and team leadership
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
