About the Role

Groomfield Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their Human Resources team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in advising on best practices for recruitment and retention, ensuring the smooth operation of HR services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train hiring managers on interview evaluation techniques to ensure fair and effective recruitment processes.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, communicating it to the business and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Advise managers on recruitment and selection strategies to attract top talent.
  • Review and update job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the requirements of the role.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and assist with recruitment campaigns to attract the best candidates.
  • Coordinate the appointment process for successful applicants, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates, to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in HR, with relevant training or a degree in human resources.
  • Proven experience as an HR advisor, HR consultant, or similar role, with a strong understanding of employment law and data protection.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it, with excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with senior staff and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures, with the ability to design clear and fair policies.
Benefits

The HR Advisor role offers an excellent benefits package, including an annual salary of £28,000. You will receive 25 days of holiday per annum, plus statutory days, with a mandatory 3 days saved for Christmas.
