Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to manage our school Library and reading intervention programme. This is an important new post within the school, offering a chance for someone to put their own stamp on the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the school Library and reading intervention programme
- Develop and implement effective reading strategies to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate reading and literacy into the curriculum
- Provide guidance and support to students on reading and literacy skills
- Develop and maintain a vibrant and inclusive Library environment
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of reading and literacy strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to St Peter's Academy's values and ethos

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Amendment Order and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

To comply with Asylum and Immigration legislation, you will be required (if appointed) to provide one or more documents from the Immigration Act - List A and B. You must provide proof of current and valid permission to be in the United Kingdom and valid permission to do the type of work offered.
