Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to manage our school Library and reading intervention programme. This is an important new post within the school, offering a chance for someone to put their own stamp on the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the school Library and reading intervention programme
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library and reading services into the curriculum
- Provide guidance and support to students on reading and literacy skills
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library collection and resources
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of educational and library practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Amendment Order and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
