About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our IT Applications service, you will play a crucial role in delivering 100s of IT applications and systems to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line support for IT applications and systems
  • Work closely with other team members and eHealth staff to resolve complex problems
  • Communicate technical solutions and problems to non-technical users
  • Represent the team at meetings involving senior managers and non-eHealth staff
Requirements

You should have both theoretical and practical experience of IT systems gained through a relevant degree or diploma or equivalent practical experience. You should also have experience in the specification and support of IT applications within a complex environment.
