Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the estimation team, including allocating workloads and maintaining committed deadlines.
* Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for professional development.
* Support the team through effective line management, including 1-2-1s and appraisals in line with our people-centered HR policies.
* Drive performance and cost-effectiveness by monitoring KPIs in alignment with business-wide objectives.
* Manage internal team processes, including the quotation process and data entry on business systems.
* Prepare basic and detailed tenders, COMA/maintenance contracts, and sales contracts, ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines.
* Manage the approval process of quotes up to £200k before they are sent to clients and decide on the quote/no-quote process.

Requirements:

* A proven track record of building strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers.
* Experience in delivering results through strong leadership and collaboration skills.
* Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements, providing quotations, liaising with internal departments, and submitting a final overview of project ability to the client.
* Working business systems to follow company processes and maintain data integrity.

You will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as electrical, civil, or manufacturing engineering. You will also have a strong market knowledge and experience within the electrical distribution sector, both HV and LV.
