KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to client calls promptly and professionally.
- Direct technical inquiries to the Technical Support Specialist team as necessary.
- Accurately process telephone orders in the ERP system and provide real-time stock availability updates to clients.
- Manage orders received via email and respond to client requests as needed.
- Update and amend information as required, and release web orders to the warehouse.
- Input key account orders as directed.
- Follow up on courier-related issues, documenting failures appropriately.
- Confirm client requirements for back-ordered items through phone or email, once stock is received. Cancel or release back orders for processing as necessary.
- Record and address service-related complaints, including order process errors, and escalate product fault complaints to the Technical Support team.
- Provide clients with return forms and return numbers as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks as required, including utilizing Excel spreadsheets for data management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience: Candidates should ideally possess experience in a commercial customer service environment within a sales-driven organization.
- Education: Ideally, candidates should have achieved GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with in-house systems or Sage is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
