Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Elevation Recruitment Group, working within a professional services environment that is commercial, fast-paced, and friendly.

The role can be based in Sheffield with hybrid working (50% homeworking) with travel to other sites when required.

This role is extremely varied, with no day the same and the Employee Relations Specialist will get involved in:

  • Leading on disciplinary, grievance, and appeal cases, as well as advising on complex sickness and disability cases, underperformance, and hearings/appeals
  • Providing a high level of expertise and support to key stakeholders, as well as coaching teams on best practice to ensure it is consistently applied across the business
  • Working on redundancy and restructuring cases, using effective reporting and offering recommendations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Deep technical employment policy and employee relations knowledge
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to coach and mentor managers and stakeholders, challenging where necessary
  • Excellent People Management skills, driving improvements in performance
