Job Summary: We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) Children's Service as Children's Home Managers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring that all UAS children receive the support they need to begin their resettlement journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring that all UAS children receive the support they need.
- Role model good practice and organise staff to support all UAS children during their stay.
- Develop and implement practical objectives and learning plans to support the children's emotional and social development.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the children's home.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve the service.
Requirements:
- Experience working with UAS children and families.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (or willingness to obtain).
