Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge embedded software in the Combat Air Electronic Warfare domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale, critical electronic systems using Modern C++ (C++11 and/or C++14 and/or C++17)
  • Develop embedded software using RTOSs such as VxWorks or embedded Linux
  • Deploy software to multi-core or distributed hardware platforms
  • Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to develop working embedded solutions
  • Ensure compliance with airborne software design standards such as RTCA 178C, DAL C to DAL B, and coding standards like MISRA C/C++
Requirements:
  • Full software lifecycle experience, including Requirements Management, Design, Implementation, Test, and Integration
  • Proficiency in Modern C++ (11 and/or 14 and/or 17) and UML
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and agile techniques such as Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Gitlab
  • Scripting skills and knowledge of OOD (Object-Oriented Design) techniques
  • Experience with RTCA 178C, DAL C, and/or DAL B Design Assurance or similar
Desirable Skills:
  • Proficiency in Matlab Simulink, Cameo, DOORS, Dimensions, or similar tools
Security Clearance:

Candidates must be eligible for security clearance and be a UK citizen.
