Job Title: Agile Systems Analyst/Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Systems Analyst/Developer to join our team at Vertex IT Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing IT applications that meet the business needs of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To design and develop applications in line with a development methodology.
  2. To support and improve all existing applications, ensuring that the offering is best of breed and that performance is optimised.
  3. To manage relationships with users and 3rd parties in delivering and supporting the applications.
  4. To review and implement resilience within all IT applications.
  5. To follow Change Control procedures when deploying all works.
  6. To document solutions and ensure that source control is managed in line with industry best practice.
  7. To capture and document internal business requirements and present internal tenders for any solutions proposed.
  8. To increase integration between the IT applications through APIs.
  9. To play a key role in the deployment of mobile applications within the business.
  10. To undertake other duties as requested by Line Management.

Essential Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Agile development methodologies.

Desirable Experience:

  1. Previous experience of working in Agile environments.
  2. DevExpress.
  3. Mobile App development: developing applications for iOS platforms, working in Java, Objective-C and/or Swift.
  4. Experience with RESTful Web Services.
  5. Knowledge of Team Foundation Server application lifecycle development tools, including use of source control, automated testing, code analysis and continuous integration.
  6. Experience of Office Automation, Workflow and Messaging, Web Services and Scripting technologies.

Advantage:

  1. AWS.
  2. Experience of Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013 and SharePoint Online.
