About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Configuration Specialist to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our Product Configuration & Change team, you will play a critical part in the Canadian River Class Destroyer Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of the delivery of Canadian River Class Destroyer Configuration Management Capability
  • Coordinate the implementation of appropriate business rules and controls for each phase of the product lifecycle and ensure the required level of reporting is delivered
  • Provide support for configuration management of 3D model lock down and archiving activities, while overseeing the configuration control of 3D model baselines
  • Support the Principal Engineer in maintaining the River Class Destroyer Configuration Management baselines
  • Aid in the development of the programme baselines to include Functional Baselines, Allocated Baselines, and Product Baselines
  • Develop, deploy, and govern the Configuration Item (CI) strategy
Requirements
  • STEM Degree qualified
  • Experience in end-to-end engineering lifecycle with an understanding of the Configuration Management lifecycle
  • Proficient in using Product Data Management (PDM) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, i.e., TeamCentre, or Windchill
  • Familiarity working with product baselines
