About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Data Specialist to join our team at Babcock Submarine Support. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining configuration data, documents, and drawings for all items as fitted to Royal Navy submarines according to a configuration management plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration data, documents, and drawings for all items as fitted to Royal Navy submarines.
  • Ensure quality assurance by keeping records of the status of existing submarine technical documentation.
  • Manage and maintain design change management documentation within the Submarine Definition Database (SDD).
  • Understand and apply change management principles to control project and engineering documentation.
