Position Overview

South Yorkshire Housing Association Ltd is seeking to fill 2 positions for Residential Support Specialists within our Livewell SAMS and Agency team. These roles are integral to our mission of providing exceptional housing management services.

Employment Details:

- Permanent Positions: SAMS (30 hours/week) and Managing Agents (37 hours/week)

Role Responsibilities:

As a Residential Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with diverse support needs to achieve independent living. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting client assessments
  • Facilitating client transitions in and out of housing
  • Performing property inspections
  • Addressing client complaints and arrears
  • Managing household budgets
  • Liaising with support providers
  • Responding to inquiries from stakeholders

Our Agency Services Team oversees 308 bed spaces across various locations, collaborating with multiple voluntary sector agencies to deliver tailored accommodation and support.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate a compassionate and constructive approach to client interactions. A commitment to diversity and excellence in customer service is essential.
