Senior QA Project Lead

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Project Lead to join our team at Rebellion. As a key member of our QA department, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA Analysts and ensuring the quality of our projects meets the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of QA Analysts to ensure the quality of our projects.
  • Work collaboratively with Production and other departments to ensure project QA requirements are clearly understood and effectively managed.
  • Plan, create, and execute project QA strategies and test plans.
  • Delegate test cases to the test team and ensure they are completed efficiently.
  • Perform assessments of projects with development and production teams to identify areas requiring tests and provide risk assessments.
  • Proactively solve project issues with the test teams and QA Manager to avoid impacting the project.
  • Actively mentor the QA team and lead by example.
  • Update and inform your line manager of project status.
  • Administer and enforce the quality and consistency of bugs as per project requirements.
  • Monitor and manage bug databases to ensure team efficiency and productivity.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve goals through the test team.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders as required to support QA activities.

  • Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilience, accountability, and responsibility.
  • Active listening skills and ability to motivate and incorporate input from within the team.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of game testing models.
  • Extensive knowledge of bug testing and project tracking software (JIRA, Devtrack).
  • Exceptional knowledge of the video game development process.
  • An excellent understanding of the 8th and 9th generation of consoles and PC platforms.
