Consultant Neurologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our neurology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of neurology professionals to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient care and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of our neurology services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Relevant specialty degree qualification and completion of Specialty Training (CST or equivalent) or within 6 months of achieving it in relevant specialty.
- Experience of audit and quality improvement, teaching junior staff, and undergraduate teaching.
- Effective team worker with demonstrable team leadership skills and experience.
- Understanding and experience of delivering organisational change.
