Financial Analyst Job Description

**About Our Client**

Page Personnel Sales is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our client, a renowned player in the health sector.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Financial Analyst to assist with the monthly payroll process, prepare and post accruals and prepayments to SAP, reconcile and post weekly bank statements to SAP, and prepare weekly cash flow statements based on bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for authorizing and performing financial checks on purchase ledger invoices, supporting financial year-end activities, and collaborating with external auditors.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist with the monthly payroll process
* Prepare and post accruals and prepayments to SAP
* Reconcile and post weekly bank statements to SAP
* Prepare weekly cash flow statements based on bank reconciliations
* Authorize and perform financial checks on purchase ledger invoices
* Support financial year-end activities and collaborate with external auditors

**Requirements**

* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Started working towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA
* Proficiency in financial software such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
