About the Institution:
Become a part of our dynamic educational community dedicated to fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all students. We are committed to addressing the diverse needs of our learners through a comprehensive support framework for Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our institution features state-of-the-art facilities across a spacious campus, designed to facilitate both academic and recreational activities. We emphasize a well-rounded educational experience, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel.

We are in search of a dedicated Special Needs Educational Support Assistant with expertise in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our committed team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This role is essential in delivering specialized assistance to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The position arises from our ongoing dedication to enhancing SEN services and supporting the comprehensive development of each child.

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess a solid understanding of SEMH needs and effective strategies for promoting emotional stability and positive behavior.

  • A relevant qualification or training in SEN support is preferred but not mandatory, provided you have substantial experience in the field.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Cultivate a supportive environment that encourages emotional health and academic achievement.
  • This position offers a competitive daily rate (£85-£100), commensurate with your expertise and dedication. You will also have access to ongoing professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills in SEN support.
All candidates must possess the necessary qualifications and training for this role. For educational roles, a formally recognized teaching qualification is required. However, we will retain your CV and continue to assist you in your job search within the education sector.

Teach Now is devoted to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young individuals, and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Clearance.
