Key Responsibilities

  1. Interface with internal and external stakeholders on quality matters.
  2. Compilation and monitoring of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reproducibility and Repeatability Data, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
  3. Data capture, analysis, and action generation to drive improvements based on factual data.
  4. Disposition and management of complaint products using customer processes (e.g. Notice of Potential Quality Escape, DIVE package reviews, etc.).
  5. Completion of internal product, process, quality assurance, and quality control audits, as well as external supplier audits and corrective action follow-ups as required.
  6. Supervision of 2 Quality Engineers.

Essentials

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within an aerospace company.
  2. Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
  3. Proven quality professional with an in-depth knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques, PPAP, FMEA, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gauge Design and Testing (GDT), and ASME standards.
