Key Responsibilities
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders on quality matters.
- Compilation and monitoring of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reproducibility and Repeatability Data, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Data capture, analysis, and action generation to drive improvements based on factual data.
- Disposition and management of complaint products using customer processes (e.g. Notice of Potential Quality Escape, DIVE package reviews, etc.).
- Completion of internal product, process, quality assurance, and quality control audits, as well as external supplier audits and corrective action follow-ups as required.
- Supervision of 2 Quality Engineers.
Essentials
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within an aerospace company.
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
- Proven quality professional with an in-depth knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques, PPAP, FMEA, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gauge Design and Testing (GDT), and ASME standards.
