Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our aerospace products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers on quality issues.
* Compilation and monitoring of FMEA, Reproducibility and Repeatability Data, and PPAP Documentation.
* Driving improvement activities to reduce scrap, rework and non-value-added costs.
* Data capture, analysis, and action generation to bring about improvements based upon factual data.
* Supporting and leading 8D exercises with multi-disciplined teams.
* Disposition and management of complaint product using customer process.
* Completion of internal product, process, quality assurance and quality control audits and external supplier audits/corrective action follow-ups as required.

Essentials:

* Aerospace experience (last 5 years in a Quality Engineer role within an aerospace company).
* Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
* Proven quality professional with an in-depth knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, GDT, ASME.
* Extensive knowledge of General Aerospace and AS9100 C/NADCAP Requirements.
* Approachable but assertive individual with an organized, methodical and diligent approach to work.
* Management experience is not necessary, but you need to have had experience of delegating work out or been the key person to take overall responsibility.
