Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Researcher to join our team at Project People. As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking UX activities within an app-focused team aligned to the Digital UX function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insight and reporting on research and usability-based UX practices aligned to the outcomes defined within the project.
- Develop wireframes and journey flows based on insight and research.
- Attend and contribute to all project ceremonies.
- Support the creation of journey flows and designs within Figma.
- Champion a customer-first view on usability and accessibility.
- Provide prototypes (low and high fidelity) to support fast-paced user testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide options for solutions to challenges.
- Undertake research and user testing based on the app team's backlog, providing detailed reports on findings.
- Create user flows and wireframes for prioritized journeys using designated tools, based on brand and design system.
- Provide expertise and insight for all usability and accessibility needs within the project.
- Support digital designers by creating high-fidelity prototypes of flows and journeys in designated tools.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of foundational research is essential for this role, requiring the ability to get beneath the 'why' of user behaviors and challenge the norm.
- Mobile apps experience is essential.
- Strong champion of the customer and user, focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience working with developers, designers, and product owners.
