Job Duties
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, documenting all care provided as necessary.
- Assist with the admission and reception processes for new patients.
- Follow personalized care plans, which may include: bed making, personal hygiene assistance, and support with mobility and rehabilitation.
- Help with meal preparation and serving, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in healthcare.
- Relevant experience in a care setting.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Demonstrated proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and effective communication skills.
- Experience in a caring role, whether in a professional or voluntary capacity.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with hospital information systems.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment.
