About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Claybourne, a purpose-built care home providing residential dementia care for 46 residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to residents
  • Support residents with personal care needs and help them participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
  • Previous experience in a care setting, with a focus on leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
