About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Quest Search and Selection Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through the development of new ranges and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and develop profitable new ranges for upcoming seasons, leveraging data and market trends to inform your decisions.
  • Work closely with leading suppliers such as Nestle, Mars, and Kellogg's to negotiate prices and terms.
  • Lead and develop innovative range marketing plans to drive sales and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with international market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
  • Hold accountability for revenue, sales, margin, and promotional income.
  • Use data and trends to generate new ideas on how to grow year-over-year sales and margin.
  • Conduct range reviews and undertake continuous improvement of the product offer through effective range analysis.
  • Manage performance of products within budget.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years + experience within buying.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and profit growth in a similar role.
  • Experience working with branded product ranges within food/FMCG or another branded category.
  • Desirable experience in snacking, gifting food, impulse, seasonal, biscuits, or confectionary.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
