About the Role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our Financial Services Team at Lincolnshire County Council as Senior Finance Professionals.

The roles will support Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, Place and Schools Finance directorates while providing key corporate and technical finance services to the Council as a whole.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the accounting service to the Council, encompassing both management and financial accounting functions, as well as VAT and treasury management services.
  • Provide key financial processes, producing financial data within deadlines and to a high-quality standard within a fast-moving environment.
  • Undertake key financial processes, including closure of accounts, systems administration, grant administration, and statutory returns.
  • Support other team members in financial tasks and provide technical accounting knowledge.
About You

The ideal candidate should have a professional and organized approach to work with good knowledge of financial principles and practices.

They should have an organized approach to work, suitable experience of working within public sector finance, excellent communication and ICT skills (particularly Excel), and hold a relevant accounting qualification (minimum of AAT or equivalent, or above).
