We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our Financial Services Team at Lincolnshire County Council as Senior Finance Professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, Place and Schools Finance directorates
  • Provide key corporate and technical finance service to the Council as a whole
About the Team

The Financial Services team provides the accounting service to the Council, encompassing both management and financial accounting functions, as well as VAT and treasury management services.

  • Accounting functions cover both revenue and capital finance
  • Include major processes of closure of accounts, systems administration, grant administration and statutory returns
About You
  • Professional and organised approach to work
  • Good knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Organised approach to work
  • Experience of working within public sector finance
  • Excellent communication and ICT skills (particularly Excel)
  • Relevant accounting qualification (minimum of AAT or equivalent, or above)

Working Arrangements

We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working will be a feature of this role.

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.
